The Cotton Building was built in 1911 at Hastings & Carrall Street when the area was Vancouver's bustling downtown core. The Only Seafoods is Vancouver's longest surviving restaurant at the same location.

This large-format Kodak from approximately 1915 shot 3.25" x 5.5" negatives, which were then typically contact-printed directly onto postcards. If you've ever found old family photographs with postcard printing on the backs of them, they most likely were taken with a camera like this one.
